I wouldn't necessarily ask them that we do that, but I wonder if it is at least an option.

For anybody who is wondering what you can do to avoid these PMs, you have 3 options as far as I know (all of which you can do from the User CP link above then selecting Edit Options):

-disable PMs entirely
-disable PMs from users other than contacts and mods
-ignore select users (recommended)
.......may or may not be abusing the feature?

I don't know (I don't have this problem), but I'd think you could only do it by usergroup. I'm sure you could disable PMs from a users permissions, but I'm not advocating that; just asking for a mod to do their job.

I said that because the double PM you received may have been an honest mistake, maybe like a double post. I certainly never intend to double post, but I do end up doing it sometimes. Or maybe he's just not keeping a list like he probably should be keeping.

Yeah, apparently we can disable sigs by usergroup so maybe the same can be done with PMs or even just mass PMs. Still, I think we'll try to get him to adjust his use of PMs before asking for admin help.

Oh how you love that last line of yours.

If you know the person you're inviting, it's cool. Otherwise, it's not.
