I am new to OOTP and just purchased the latest version. I am attempting to start a season with the Winnipeg Goldeyes of the American Association and was hoping to use actual rosters. Is there a way to do this or import into the game? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Welcome to the board! Congratulations and thank you for buying the game!

When you start a new game, you can either use the full quickstart (MLB, KBO, etc.) that has all indy and international leagues, or you can start a new standard game, then pick and choose what leagues to add. If you choose the latter, please check off US Independent Leagues.

Also, for future references, its always best to ask on the General Discussions forum.

Your biggest issue right now will be the rosters for the indy leagues will only be half setup. Gotta remember that most indy teams don't firm up their rosters until towards the beginning of the minor league seasons in order to get players that were recently cut from minor league camps. That obviously never happened this year.

Ok thanks for the tip! My next question is.. what do the facegens exactly do? I downloaded the files and now I am completely lost. Using a Mac.

Where ever macs store saved games and the like, you will have a folder called FG. Dump all the downloaded facegens in there and click OK to overwrite. Then when you start the game... Most if not all the players will have faces in the game

Do I need to unzip anything? I tried to paste the files in the FG folder but it won't allow me.

Apparently I'm a moron because I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Unzippped files, put them in folder and I get a message that file can't be found. Argh. I'm at a loss.

Thought I had all the files in place, but when I attempt to change the face I get a message asking me what application to use on my Mac. Any advice?
