Could definitely be seen as being in bad taste, trying to profiteer with gambling from a global pandemic.

Point taken Marleigh. The optics might not look good but it would depend on how it was marketed, certainly don't use a ham-fisted description of the sale like I did.

Not sure of their balance sheet specifically, but OOTP is already part of an industry that is profiting from the current situation. Not from any fault of their's mind you. What I was suggesting was something akin to a "Thanks PT Fans, have a deal while you can't go outside."

While technically gambling, especially if your opening packs, the money is only going one way, no money to win and nothing tangible coming back to anyone playing this game. Only bragging rights. Those are truly very bad odds.

Instead of a points sale, maybe they could add a Live-only tournament (or a series of live-only tournaments some capped some not) with bigger rewards as a tribute to the current MLB players who can't play right now!

I dont want to comment on the sale stuff (mostly because thats outside of my jurisdiction), but when it comes to PT in general, we are still 100% focused on providing a fun experience when content of all shapes and sizes throughout the season. We have and will need to continue to adjust things without baseball being played, but our goal is to keep adding and keep fun content coming down the pipe all season long

Great job Kris! Loved the live missions and loving the tournaments. This year is the best product yet!
