Aren't you accidentally trying to load a game saved by different version? E.g. You play, save the game, quit, update FHM with new version and try to load the old save? This won't work.

I have setup the game five or six times with the new build. Whenever I click play the first time it just says the program is closing.

I still get Errors meaning Game wants to exit because the Computer did something wrong in a Roster move.

You should be able to Edit League Rules anytime of year because I have to wait intill end of the Year to change Prospects on NHL Rosters back to 0 and then I can take back over the Blues.

Also for 0.59 in Players BIO shows who they were Drafted by if they were,turn on maybe Minor League Option need and so on,In Edit Team show Farm Team so we can add,delete,change Team,Rumor Mill in News for Trades that might happen,also control your Minor League Team to so if your Team gives up like Dean Thames for Keanu Reynolds because Reynolds is a Free-Agent would become one of your Unsigned Prospect and take further Trade Unsigned Prospect and further if like Brian Elliott is one let other Teams try and sign and him and you don't match either get Draft Picks from other Team or try and work out a Trade.

Also DFA,Waiver Trades.

I bought the game 8/17 with the 9.59 version. I released the license, uninstalled the game, then reinstalled 9.56. Now it won't let me activate - keeps saying could not connect to esellerate servers due to a failed network request. Obviously I am connected to the internet (since I am typing this on the forum). Is there a problem with the esellerate server? I'd like to be able to play the game!

That message comes up when eSellerate's server is busy, but it's not going to be busy for that long. What's worked so far when this happens is manual activation. You can find the instructions for doing that here:

(follow the steps titled "Offline Licensing - Windows or Mac (OOTP 11-14)")

It's a bit involved, but seems to be effective in these situations. If that doesn't work, the next step would be submitting a support ticket so we can investigate further - but manual activation will be one of the first things they want to try, so it's worth giving a shot first.

Thanks, Jeff! eSellerate's server was still busy, but I was able to do the manual activation. Now on to some FHM gaming goodness!!
