Question Chuck Klein the Triple King

I have an 84 overall Chuck Klein card (1930 Record Breaker) who has 21 speed and 23 baserunning ability. Despite never getting more than 4 triples in the four seasons that he's played for me (two seasons he didn't get any), this dude cranks out 15 of the three-baggers this year which tied him for the league lead. At this point, you might be thinking, "probably park factors." My park factor for triples is .900, three of the other teams in my division have kept it at 1.000, and then the last team, my dude with the 30-win reliever, has a triples park factor of .500. Listen, I ain't complaining over that, but what on earth??

I've seen something similar a while back with Don Money. Guy would hit like 0 triples a season, then one year he hit 13. Never changed my park factors either.

Anecdotes that make you go "hmmmmmmm". There's been quite a few discussions about stat variance, but a guy with 10 speed and 18 baserunning getting 13 triples among many seasons of 0 or 1 triple, well...anywho...guess the RNG that distributes the stats to meet the quota decided to land on that card. Just like you I'm not complaining but...is that plausible ?

There are some rather unexpected results in this game. My deGrom managed to go 9-17 for my division winning team this year, after posting a 21-9 record the year before.
And buried in a thread around here somewhere is a guy moaning (and rightfully!) because Mike Scioscia hit an inside the park homerun against him. Talk about the most exciting two minutes in sports!
