Mini-Mini-Whale Diamond 386 Season 10

Welcome to the DIamond League that I guess is the Minor Leagues or feeder leagues to Orcin's Mini-Whale league... Maybe we are mean dolphins or Sea Lions or something if not mini whales...

I see a few familiar faces. Hopefully a fun balanced league this week and best of luck to everyone. CHEERS!

The challenge for some of us will be to stay at the diamond level. I almost made it to the playoffs in diamond last season (lost in the 163rd game), but this season... My best pitcher just got destroyed by the Toronto Developers owned by some dude named Matt Arnold. Nice way to start the new season!

Baseball Sharks Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo checking in. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to stop my Mike Trout from winning 5 straight MVPs, 5 straight Silver Sluggers, and 3 straight LF Gold Gloves.

That lineup is really good, but I was happy to see his Pedro and Randy weren't the Perfect versions. He's been absolutely crushing his leagues, but I think he looks beatable with that pitching staff.

Thanks for doing this... was going to try to tackle it myself.

However, you have my Gold Gryphs at 52, but they're actually a 47 unless I'm in need of a math refresher??

lol.... no, I need the new math refresher... had my formula off on the perfect player level.... doing a quick recalc and I'll update the original post

updated..... only 4 teams over the 50 points target, so very nice start (two by just a point or two at 51 and 52; and two by a larger amount at 65 and 70 points)

I'd be happy with one for my Trout.

The trophey cabinet on this guy weighs more than the team bus. Sheesh. Not sure how you got so lucky with YOUR Trout, but lemme assure you I have my people paying strict attention to your medical staff now. Urine samples will be collected twice a month.

Too bad...looks like the Renton Warriors did not get pulled into this group. I assume some people had too many teams outside the diamond-only list and pulled in other friends.

Maybe next week.....good luck everyone in D386.
Looks like you all have a common team to beat.

I think we can ALL agree that enemy number 1 in the AC is going to be Flagstaff and in the NC it's Anderson. Those two rosters seem PL ready. I'll cheer for anyone playing against them.

I don't know either. I have a Perfect League Trout that I actually had to bench last season because he was hitting .200 for too long. And this Trout has been in 2 seasons of Diamond already with plenty of other Trouts, so I'm not totally sure how he keeps dominating.

I added them as a friend... did LiamF add any of us? Not sure why it didn't pull them in... unless name change?

I added everyone in the diamond list late last night (before the promotion/relegation process began) so I guess the friends algorithm just wasn't able to handle things as perfectly as we'd have liked.

Hello everyone! Snaefell here. Looks like not being relegated is this season's goal for me

That's definitely my goal too. Points wise, I'm near the bottom of the group, but maybe we're not quite that bad. Nah, we probably are.
