I was trying to remember the line from Bull Durham.

I guess no-hitters are listed in multiple ways, because when you see a list of pitchers who threw a no-hitter, nobody gets credit for pitching part of one.

Right -- I was just bummed b/c league history didn't (and apparently doesn't) record combined no-hitters as a no-hitter at all. It would be cool if it did, and would be cool if "Pitched 2.2 innings of no-hitter against Minnesota Twins on June 4, 2014" showed up in individual player history under "Achievements"... one can always dream.

Or simply combined shut-outs. It's pretty common practice to hear these mentioned. Someday, I'm sure.

I'd also add as a sub-component of both #'s 2 and 3: Better AI when it comes to end-of-season and postseason. For example, I'm tired of seeing aces & other top pitchers start meaningless end-of-regular-season games and thus be unavailable for games 1 & 2 of the playoffs. My #5 would be to implement semi-realistic playoff scheduling, as opposed to the completely unrealistic cookie-cutter schedules that OOTP comes up with. |

Now for the segway...I think if there were more playoff newspaper articles at least we could archive those and at least have something to go back to.

Oh by the way...that wasn't my list of priorities. That is The Wolf's new list of priorities.

I think the Newspaper is #1 priority simply because it's the easiest fix.
It's trigger programming essentially I have other priorities mainly managerial and player strategies (forcing a start a SP or MR does NOT work when you are Commish and the team is AI) actually working but that has been broken since implementation, so...I am not looking at positive results there. |

They're not going to fix it. I now regret preordering.

Anyway, I am still about to spend time in this area for OOTP 15, so probably some of the stuff posted here will be added. However, this does not apply to game recaps of any kind, as this is incredibly complex and something for a future version. |

Game recaps would be a "nice to have" I think just some more news stories in general
