CSV Help

I'm looking for new decoding the csv files.

I'm creating my own little excel file(s) to sort the data. Just a side project to pass the time, blah blah blah.

Anyways, I've been doing my best to sort out what the headers and numbers mean in the csv dumps, but was wondering if there existed a master list or something.

For instance, what I'm stuck trying to figure out is in OOTP13, the team_roster.csv

"team_id" "player_id" "list_id"
1249 13503 1
1249 13702 2
1249 13425 4
1249 9548 1
1249 13387 2
1249 9548 3

team_id, player_id are self-explanatory.

list_id I'm assuming is a roster designation, but what do the 1's, & 2's, etc mean.

does this type of information exist out there somewhere?

As best I have figured it, list ID has the following values:
1 - Is on the team's roster (includes players on the DL)
2 - Is on the team's active roster (excludes players on the DL)
3 - Is on the secondary roster (40-man roster - you won't see this for minor league teams)
4 - Is on the DL

Personally, I find the players_roster_status table to be of more use, as it'll give more information about the very same roster statuses.

Thank you for this.

I'm more wondering, in general, if there was a database or list somewhere that decoded the files too.
