40 man Roster?

I would love it if we had expanded rosters for September in the future, whether it be a 40 man or at least a 30 or 35 man roster. This would keep me more invested in the bottom half of my roster and building depth, and allow me to use cards that I wouldn't otherwise. For example, I have a 60 overall Chase Utley card (One of my favorite players), but since he is worse than all of my other infielders, I'll never get to use him.

I'd rather use my better players. With a lack of injuries and not much fatigue, there's pretty much no point in expanded rosters. You could just change your own rosters game to game to play players from your reserve roster if you want.

The problem with expanded rosters is that it would halt the simulation once the league goes into the playoffs and users have to make roster cuts. So, it isn't an option.

Ah, this makes sense, hadn't thought of that. Unless there was a way to make a playoff roster at the same time as September call-ups. But I'm guessing that might be more complex than most would prefer.

What I am intending to do is if I get eliminated, to call up a batch of new players and use them for the rest of the season and see what happens. Might sit the whole 25, might leave a few guys up. It appears I am at the minimum going to be in the hunt til the last weekend, so there might not be much of that strategy to employ.
