World database

Are we any closer to getting a comprehensive edited world database out there? We see a lot of threads started promising such and then mysteriously going quiet. We have the data for each league to be created:

Realistically we need to establish who's mod for individual leagues is the best and put this data together as one db

I understand that these things take time but I am keen to see a more enthusiastic undertaking of putting such a project together. It would be a great mod to have for new people to the game especially, to have real team names and player rosters.
