What about injury/fatigue for position players settings? I think my high in my RD league of 63 years is Mickey Mantle. Yep just looked it up. The Mick holds the single season record with 63 and the career record with 677. I have injuries set to high, fatigue at average, and suspensions at normal. This is also an OOTP16 league. Your league appears to add fuel to the white hot OOTP18 having too much offense debate. I use 3-year double weighted, neutralized stats, neutralized ballparks, neutralized weather, with stats output from 1984 for every season. It helps dampen the offense a bit. I like something between steroid and deadball eras and 1984 does the trick for me.

This was similar to what I ended up with in my last attempt. I had a season where Sammy Sosa hit 100+ home runs and 250 rbis

To me, a league like that one isn’t worth playing. It’s arcade baseball

Ah, just checked and I apparently had injuries set on low. :P
(Fatigue was average and suspensions were normal)

Apparently it does get to be a bit of a MASH unit, so if you don't mind dealing with that you should be alright. I don't take control of a team, so I don't agonize with each injury. It is one way to increase the number of players that play for each team, and that's basically why I use it, plus there's the fact that the High setting has been proven to not be as extreme as what we see IRL these days.
