Will OOTP 21 include rule changes announced for 2020 by MLB today?

Hope so. Not a fan of constant pitching changes but I'm old and liked watching Vida Blue, Jack Morris, and the lads pitch the dang game.

Probably
Just a guess, but I'd imagine OOTP will give you the option to use the new rules or stick with the old rules.

Lets go OOTP! How about an official update on OOTP21 and the new accompanying mobile app (which is an awesome idea)? We are out here bursting at the seams for a peek at this years version (with one month to launch date). Thanks for all you do!

I really hope that this new version (21) is not a turd like 20 is. They really should give us our money back for that one.

I'm not sure if the feature list is enough to quantify a purchase for 21. I love 20, but what exactly are the new features? Building a stadium and helping newcomers to the game is not enough.

To your concern however, from what I understand, they have also overhauled and revamped the scouting and draft system as well; I think that is pretty big. In addition, they apparently have spent a great deal of time on allowing players to customize player lists and displays; this seems to be a common request around the forums. By that I mean, people are often asking for this type of sorting, or that type of display etc...; this allows folks to basically customize a lot of their experience. I never had any issue with this type of thing, but overall the UI does seem to have improved. |
