Can I do all this with OOTP 20?

I believe I have figured out how to use OOTP for a fictional league I have set up in cards & dice.

Here’s what I want to do:
- 8-team league.
- 4-man rotation
- Top 4 teams in playoffs (Best of 5 first round, 4-man rotation; championship round Best of 7, 3-man rotation.)
- 25 players per team (no injuries)
- Create all players for Year 1.
- Change names.
- Change face several gens.
- Edit age, positions, basic ratings
- Is 1 to 5 stars rating system still available?
- After each year, manually retire worst 16 batters and 8 pitchers and create rookies (same routine as original player creation.

Bottom line, I want to control everything but aging.

Is there anything among the aforementioned that I cannot do with OOTP 20?

Definitely possible, but pretty audacious. It would take a lot of tinkering after creating a custom league for that, but making one while enabling Commissioner Mode would allow you to do all those things, except maybe for aging. I'm not sure about that one.

Thanks, aks.

Sounds like I’d be better off letting the game generate the players, then going in to change names to match up with my perception of who in my league comes close to matching the generated player.

I’ll give it a shot.
