Importing Oscar Charleston

I have tried multiple times to import Oscar into our online leagued nothing works...I've used the historical odb and the master.csv and used identifiers such as charlos99h charlos99 charo001...I've used 1915, 1921 and 1924 as years to get him to import and nothing will work...

charle001osc & charlos00 do not work either.i dont think he would be in the historical odb or master. He should only be in the minor league DB since he never played in the majors. i am creating a 1920 league to see if i can find him brb.

It's odd cause he's listed in the master.csv but just can't get him to import...I think if I use the minor league db it will be fine

here he is in 1920. thought io tried that and that is what BB ref shows. i will try importing him into a modern game.

so he played from 1915 to 1941.

charle001osc, 1915
he imported in one of my older (no longer using) leagues with that ID.

He's in the HoF because he might have been the best position player to play in the Negro Leagues. You need to completely disregard any surviving Negro League stats. They are quite unreliable to determine who the best players were. If you're putting any of them in, you have to put in Mr. Charleston.

Re: OP on Importing Charleston...Have you tried the SpritzeHSforOOTP18 database? I know it says 18, but it works in 19. I've tried it and it's fine. Here's the link to the download: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wcbm8q99jz...OTP18.zip?dl=0 In the Spritze database his ID number is charlos00, and I used 1914 in the "Enter Season Year" box under the "Import Historical Player(s)" box under Actions... in the Free Agents screen. You can also bring him into the draft if that's what you want by checking the "Import Player(s) into the Draft Pool" box in the Import Historical Player(s) box

You will require the master.csv file to make heads or tails of it. If you want that, shoot me a PM with the e-mail you want me to send it to, and I'll get it to you.
