Ventura Starts First Two Games of Season
As in the team's first two games. Royals schedule had them playing Sunday night and Tuesday afternoon, followed by two more off days and Friday night game.
Tuesday was rained out. I wonder if any pitcher since WWII has started his team's first two games of the season? |

Wilber Wood
On July 20, 1973 Wood started both ends of a doubleheader, making him the last pitcher to do so.[7] He lost both of those games. |

Not to start a season, but Zack Greinke started 3 games in a row. It was around the allstar break. He started and was ejected early. Then started the next day. And then started the first game after the break

At first I thought this was going to be another of those "oh no, another weird bug." Turns out it was just a cool fluke of scheduling. Nice

The bug here is that OOTP isn't rescheduling the Tuesday game for Wednesday, even though it's a common off day.
@Airdrop01: When was the Tuesday game rescheduled for? @Pirates: Yep, Wilbur Wood in 1973 started his team's first two games. |

Very interesting post. We get the chance to see many more games as an OOTP owner -- and we still see something new every time in the wonderful game of baseball.
