Unable to advance game due to salary floor issue

So my team is.. about a million below the salary floor, so when I try to advance past that day I get the pop-up letting me know that, and the game won't continue.

However, I have no room on my team to add players from the minors in order to try and get above the floor (at 23/23 players, and I also have several on IR due to long term injuries). I literally have all of my most expensive players on the team.

I've tendered contract renewals to several of the players, but of course it takes time for that to happen.. and since I can't advance the game, I'm stuck.

Any suggestions?

Go to Commisioner Mode and change salaries by editing players
until you are over the "floor"

I would recommend only editing one player and giving him a large salary boost (maybe +5,000,000), so that you only have to re-edit one player later on when your salary floor problems are resolved.

1) Click on a player profile.
2) Click "Edit" from along the bar that shows Ratings, Scouting, etc.
3) The tab that opens has Contract in the middle of the screen.
4) Edit the current year's standard salary.
