FIBB has a rare public opening

Rome Gladiators

FIBB.net / FIBB Forums

The Gladiators are in firm rebuild mode after a long run of success from 2003 to 2015. They do have the #6 farm and everyone likes to build their new teams from scratch anyway.

The FIBB is a 30-team league with fictional teams, but started with MLB players. Many of those original MLBers are now old and retired as we are currently in the 2018 season. We have some nice extra BOSI-based features on our homepage as well as some outside of OOTP features like the Local Heroes, RFA, Winter Ball League, etc. Nothing against any of the great leagues out there, but I've never been a part of a league that is as active as the FIBB. This is generally a great thing, but can also bring some increased scrutiny to trades and owner decisions. The bottom line is that the forums are always hopping (even if we're talking about WoW or the latest CNN headlines or our eternal fear of zombie infestation ) and there are always guys to talk trade with.

The FIBB does have heightened participation requirements. We use a Participation Point System and require every owner to write enough to accumulate 20 PPTs for each season (sounds harder than it is) as well as requiring exports and league votes. There are lots of very nice Rewards to buy with your hard-earned PPTs. We sim M / W / F in the evenings. The FIBB, MBBA, tMBU and now deceased ORB share a lot of the same ideals, features and owners so if you've experienced any of those leagues you have a feel for things already.

If interested PM me directly here or just come over to the FIBB Forums and register and fill out the Q&A in the New Applicants section. Thanks!

Great league. Would be a natural fit for someone from the Off-Topic forums who loves their baseball but also likes a lot of other things going on to keep them busy during a monotonous day at work.

These are class guys, you owe yourself to check this out.

Thumbs up

FIBB is the only league I've seen where current owners dream about their teams, former owners stick around for years (and often come back to take teams over and over), and the activity level is through the roof.

Join now, but only if you're serious about having fun in an OOTP league!

Bumping because I love the FIBB so much, and you should too.

And what Josh said about owners dreaming about their teams - what he failed to mention is that some owners dream about other owners, too.

I'm in the exact same four leagues A.J. is in (even though I must say I'm three or four feet taller than he is), and I agree with everything he says. He runs his teams into financial ruin while I opt for total destruction of an organization, but I think we can agree that the FIBB is the bestest.

AJ is down to 4 leagues now? No wonder so many OOTP leagues are folding.
