i think it's more perception than real problems -- or they ignore personalities completely have load their team with a bunch of guys who think the moon landing was a conspiracy! "Personalities" are easy to blame when a team doesn't perform in a small sample... when in reality it's well within the norm.
just because he's causing problems doesn't mean he is the sole cause of losing... more than likely losing occured first before he became a problem... so really it's overall talent that starts the ball rolling, then personalities either exascerbate the problem or slow it down a bit. (.. and the reverse when the trend is in a positive direction, of course) the emails just scare some more than others. the magnitude of the problem is being overblown and blaming one small factor way too much. |
