New Historic League.

Looks like there's enough interest that I won't steal anyone away from Remangii, but I think I figured out a way to solve my "God I hate the Wild Card" problem.

Start a historic league.

My thoughts are this.
Start in 1950, it's kind of the middle of the golden era (in my eyes).

Some of the things I want to focus on in the league are dedicated ownership (which I think is higher in historical leagues) and era-accurate stats/financials.

I'm not sure how to handle free agency right now.

Anyway, I also want to do some little unique things. Like on the GM page & with forum sig files have trophy graphics (post season awards, championships, etc) and retired numbers.

To get the league off on the right foot, I'll need some dedicated people.

I'll need two co-commishes (to act as League Presidents & help simming), a resident SABRmatrician (to keep our stats era-accurate), and a webdesigner.

I'll also need 11 more owners who are ready for a long haul. I have all intentions of bringing this league through present day.

Thanks guys. Remangii, not trying to step on your toes, with all the interest you've gotten, it looks like there's plenty of room. And 1950 - 1966 is a wide enough gap that I don't think I'll steal any of your potential owners.

I'm having computer problems, let me get back online and I'll start putting things together.

For the website, I'd definitely want something really interactive and not just the default game site. I'm good with graphics, but haven't done any webdesign in probably three years.

I still need someone to help put together the rosters & draft classes.
