Import OOTP19 games to OOTP20

How do you import OOTP19 games to OOTP20..thanks..Stan

Near the bottom of the main menu there should be an import ootp 19 game option.

Right now I am importing a game I had problems with last year and hopefully it works okay with the new version.

I have done that in the past and the game has turned out alright.

If not-I will delete it and start all over from square one.

UPDATE: The corrupt game from last year is now working properly. I am about a year and a half behind my other leagues ,however I will still keep playing 2 days worth of games per day.

In my game had to click on +SHOW MORE MODES first in order to get to the import OOTP19 feature.

depending on the size of your league you are moving it might take up to a couple hours as I am still in the myst of moving the game over since 4:30pm to now 6:40pm eastern time. I forgot to do this over night while sleeping. Oh well LOL

How big is your file? Mine is only 3.25gb.

But it is in Challenge mode. So I've never imported a challenge mode game before. And I would like to add those new foreign leagues and the updated Australian and Cuban leagues as well.

But I don't think that will be an option.

The import worked flawlessly for me so I am hopeful it does as well for you stan-theman.

I ran into the same problem initially. There is a "+" sign at the bottom of the screen saying more game modes or options....or something to that effect. Hit the plus and the option to import from OOTP 19 should show up. Find the world.dat file in your previous OOTP 19 save and you should be good to go.

My game reaches back to OOTP12 and I am in season 2079 and many things are turned on as I do not like missing news and transactions of each player and I am still importing league as of 10:38pm. Hense the reason I do it while I am in bed. Unfortunately I forgot this time.
