With the new OOTP game less than a month away, our owners are chomping at the bit for new ratings for our one of a kind league.

Currently we are full, but are taking waiting list applications, and ready to throw those GMs to the wolves in our slack community.

The CASH Element
- This is a CASH league. Owners pay $50 per season and then OWN that franchise. All monies are paid back to GMs for various accomplishments throughout the season.
- Payouts are listed in the rulebook
- New GM’s are required to pay 2 seasons up front (so $100), this ensures we are getting only the most active and committed GM’s.
- By requiring GMs to stay paid one season into the future, it gives us some quality control that they won’t decimate a franchise for a run and leave. If a team chooses to not pay forward that extra year, they obviously can play the final season they paid for, but moving prospects and young assets will be monitored very closely.

The OOTP Game
- You will be required to purchase separately the new game version every year, as we will use it once released (more to come)
- We sim 1 day each day. Our schedule is staggered (see calendar) so we line-up with the game when needed at certain periods.
- In our game, development, scouting, coaches, and international FA are turned off.
- Players are rated each year when the new game comes out. So a reliever (say Adam Ottovino) who is a 20ov in OOTP18, could be a top reliever in OOTP19 after a great MLB season. So when we rerate guys with new game, he’d be a very valuable chip.
- You are drafting/trading/signing players based on REAL LIFE potential and ability.

The Baltimore Orioles are our last remaining open team. Preview is in main thread.

The Orioles have some top talent, great youth, and a ton of financial flexibility. A perfect team for a new GM to come in with and put his stamp on the franchise, and prove he can hang with the best of the best of OOTP GM's. Those that put their money where their mouth is.

For everyone who is skeptical of a cash league ten GM's were awarded cash prizes of $25. This does not include the payouts for the teams that won their divisions, playoff series, league championships or the World Series which will be forthcoming soon. GM's who had the AL and NL MVP's (which was voted on by the fellow GM's), AL and NL Cy Young's, AL and NL Rookie of the Years, top 3 GM's and the Commish Award for League contributions.

There is still one opening for someone not afraid to rebuild a team. The Orioles will have the 1st pick in next years amateur draft, also known as the Adley Rutschman sweepstakes.
