Setting up a league with just Majors and a college feeder

I want to start a baseball universe that consists of just college and major league levels. Ideally it would be similar to the NFL/NCAAF situation in real life, with players getting drafted out of college who are or are almost major league ready.

Was wondering if anyone has done a setup like this before. I was thinking about setting the College leagues sabermetric PCMs to more of a triple-a range, but now I'm wondering if I should keep the PCMs at the default level and up the player development speed.

Any thoughts?

Problem is going to be reserve roster, I would think. Lots of shuffling, more than for, say, an nfl like situation. Good luck!

Cool concept for a league. If you do keep your roster pretty big, say 35 Man rosters then you should be able to avoid roster decimating injuries.

Let me know how it goes.

If you want, perhaps run a second tier independent league along side your major league. To go back to the Football reference, the independent league would act like the CFL, giving the fringe college players somewhere to play and potentially continue to develop as opposed to stagnate. Limit that leagues ability to sing long contracts. You may find yourself a Warren Moon, Doug Flutie, Jeff Garcia, Cameron Wake, Sam Giguere, John Ryan of baseball from the Indi leagues.

Exactly, a larger enough roster and a nice independent league. The XLB or something with He hate me playing Centerfield. It is a cool idea, look forward to reading about it.

I think the best way I've found is to set up the college feeder with AAA PCM's, so players are basically at the AAA-level talent wise when they get drafted.
