I don't know how to create a poll but it would be nice to know how many people are sticking it out. My Boogie Knights are planning to stick with it if others are.
If interest is that far gone I'll pull the plug on the Knights after today. I just looked for the first time since last Saturday at the three teams I dropped-they are all doing better without me.... |

I'm probably going to drop. Be nice to remove the card restrictions. Hard enough as a free to play team.

My experience is Live cards that are better than garbage cards I'd almost always pick historical cards but some POTM and all star cards are upgrades. If live cards I can afford are better in the bullpen then I have I should grab it and if I pull a perfect Trout, better than what I'm fielding on some of my teams, why would I not?

G349 had 4 teams. O'Fallon, Northeast Corridor, Goldsboro, and Salem. Here's how they ended up. (Sorry, no fancy graphic)
Northeast Corridor: 6-4, .600 O'Fallon: 3-7, .300 ----------------------------------------- * Goldsboro: 5-4, .556 * Salem: 5-4, .556 * = Ineligible for Crown having played less than 10 OL games. Northeast Corridor and O'Fallon each got to the magical 10 to qualify for a crown, while Goldsboro and Salem only played 9 OL games each. If this is the end of OL for PT20, it's been an honor. I hope we get to do it again in PT21, because I'd be down for that for sure. Last edited by Magus978; 11-03-2019 at 12:55 AM. |

I am also sticking it out, but I'm not making a huge effort to maintain those teams. I'm turning most of my attention to the BFF league for now, and maybe tournaments when they launch.

Sticking it out, sort of...
I will be sticking it out, but will only be checking in on Sunday mornings for about an hour to pull packs, set up the team, and check the friends list. Now that I've gotten back to long-ignored projects, the standings, et al, have become a chore, rather than the fun they used to be. I would be happy to make the graphics and Google sheets available to anyone who might want to go forward with it, bu I would caution against it at this late date.
As for next year, I'm pretty unlikely to take part, given my dissatisfaction with the game itself. If, however, they turn some attention to improving the friends list, that could change. I think it would be great if you could set up a friends list that, once it reached 30 teams, they would all be together, even if they weren't on the same level. I would rather be last in Our League than win the Series otherwise. |

Hey Magus!
I don't have a copy of the Northeast Corridor logo. Could you post one?

Hoping for OL Stats
Seems there are six teams in G308 with Philadelphia and Frankenthal making the playoffs. Also in G308 were Arkham, Tacoma, Chi-Town, and New York. Hope someone can get some OL standings done today. From what I can tell, there don't seem to be enough in silver, bronze or iron for a crown. I have one more wrap up to post. At some point this week, hopefully later tonight, I'll post the All Time standings through our 31 seasons, and the second Founders Cup winner as well. Good luck to all the teams in the playoffs.

I couldn't be bothered to draw up a logo of my own, so here's the one I've been using.
