How long does it take usually to get a challenge pack?

Did they get rid of them or something?

The last time I did it It took around 3-5 seasons of the 27 Yanks to get one. This current time I am on my thirteenth iteration of the 27 Yanks (doing 27&28 and haven't gotten one yet.

And no it's not the cooldown as I haven't logged in in almost a week...

Usually takes me less than one season to get a pack. And never more than 2. I've noticed that sometimes I get a gold pack rather than a standard pack. A nice bonus.

1-2 seasons for me. Sometime lesser than 1. The most I have experienced is like 3 and a half season I believe and that's just one instance.

I just got a Gold pack about 30 minutes ago in August of my first season.

I've had some lengthy delays in getting a pack. 8 seasons is my record. My record on the flip side is a pack after 1 click.

I've gotten one once out of probably 50 free packs

Usually takes four seasons at most for the pack. Today I was lucky in that I just simmed the offseason from my last run and got one for the "trade for mvp." Always worth doing that before restarting!

1 click? That's awesome

I'm considering not even bothering anymore. I regularly have to sit at my pc for sometimes several hours to get a pack for all 4 of my teams and for a 1k value that isnt worth it.

Every achievement you earn while playing the main game in challenge mode has a chance to drop a Perfect Team pack. The breakdown on how to efficiently farm packs is:

1. Start a new historical game
2. Enable challenge mode
3. Set year to 1927 (Un-check the box to import league history to speed up league creation)
4. Pick the Yankees
5. Lazily sim through the season
6. Enjoy your pack when it pops (may take a couple attempts at a season, start a new season if you get to the MVP award and haven't gotten a pack)

It appears you can only sim a week at a time, is that true?

yes but a week takes like 5 seconds

you can do any team you want but 27 yankees are the fastest

Right. There's a 72-hour cool down period so people with nothing but time on their hands aren't allowed to tilt the game economy on its head with freebie packs.

I suggest the 1906 Cubs. It's basically impossible to lose the NL pennant as them. The 1927 Yankees have lost to the Athletics a few times in my sims.
