Hrrrrmph. I'm kinda bummed there are no pre-order perks on steam. I hate updating the game manually for 35 patches.

If you want to buy through steam, just buy it on release day. You won't get it earlier, but it's the same price as our site. And we'll try to keep to a more regular patch cycle this year
