Lightbulb League Levels in PT

Hey guys,

unfortunately we have to rename the league levels in Perfect Team due to legal reasons. Let's not discuss the very fact though, it is what it is. So, let's hear your ideas how we can name them instead!

How about this:
MLB -> Perfect Leagues
Triple-A -> Level A
Double-A -> Level B
Class A -> Level C
Rookie League -> Rookies

Thoughts?

Cheers,
Markus

How about naming the leagues after the developers who worked on Perfect Team? Similar to what the NHL did decades ago with the Norris and Adam divisions etc.

MLB would be the Heinsohn Leagues and so on.

Hmm, no. I think what we need is a system where you get on the first glance which level is where in the hierarchy.

I'd use stars, * ("1-Star") at the bottom through ***** ("5-Star") at the top. Easy to understand.

Why don't you take cards value system ?

MLB -> Perfect Leagues
Triple-A -> Diamond Level
Double-A -> Gold Level
Class A -> Silver Level
Rookie League -> Copper Level

That's actually a good idea! The last one would be "Bronze Level", though.

I like this, as at a glance I know what level is what. There might be a bit of confusion because the minor league designations might confuse a couple out there, but, I like what you propose.

I agree. I doubt we'll come up with a better one.

I like that idea too with your edit to Bronze. It matches the cards so will be easily understood by the casual player that does not follow their favorite MLB team's farm system rankings.

Will you still be able to use all time greats for conference and divisional names? .

OK, it is decided. This change allowed us to properly color-code the universe screen, too. Thanks yoye for the suggestion!

"Perfect Leagues" doesn't have that ring to it though. Don't you all think it needs to sound more posh? Like "Premier Baseball League" or something?

Why don't the leagues form a spire at the top? A level containing one league where the very best play and an undisputed champion is crowned?

It seems a little odd to have 3 different leagues at the highest level.

I don't think that's all the leagues. The text at the bottom says there are 242 leagues and there are only 36 represented in the graphic..
