Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

Knowing BP readers, surprised it wasn't a 3 page centerfold...

With OOTP's likes and dislikes.

"Likes: long sessions of fictional simming, rewriting baseball history, and players with huge hard drives."

"Dislikes: forum trolls, buggy software, and BSODs."

Heck, haven't received my copy yet :/

Well, the guys at BP are really nice & friendly, we basically exchanged the ad for branding a couple of screens inside OOTP 14 with the BP logo. A win-win if you ask me

Smart. I wonder if you could work something out that purchasers of OOTP could get a little discount on a subscription of BP. New BP subscriptions that is.

I'm moving from the northeast to Hilton Head, S.C. In a month. Can't wait!

Well... it's sort of a "out of the frying pan..." swap PSUColonel, as you will soon find out. Get ready for HUMIDITY. Nasty, "oh, it's 97 degrees and 90 percent humidity today" humidity. 8am in the morning humidity that gets worse the minute the sun comes up. Uggh. It is bad enough for us here in Virginia, but it is brutal most times in South Carolina and Georgia during the summer. Thank goodness you will have the ocean breeze in Hilton Head on most days.

Of course there isn't much snow to worry over, something I doubt you will miss!

The humidity will be terrible, but you can't beat that area to live in the South. I love living in Charlotte, NC and this whole area is a hot bed for minor league ball parks!

Charlotte's a great place to live. Personally I prefer Asheville overall - I like the city, the people, the cooler climate and the mountains - and Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill for sports, but Charlotte's a really great place to live.

Interesting you say that. Of all the places I travel in the US and spend sufficient time to develop an opinion of, Charlotte NC is one of my favorites. I also don't mind Winston Salem. I have only been to Asheville a few times same with Raleigh/Durham but in general North Carolina is a great place to go.

Interesting anecdote; many many (mostly Canadian) hockey players and coaches, scouts etc. who have worked for the Carolina Hurricanes choose to live in and around Raleigh on a permanent basis even after they move onto other teams or retire. That's a solid vote for the lifestyle.
