Interesting Personnel Changes

What personnel changes (coach/GM/scout hirings/firings) stood out to you in FHM 2?

Wild head coach Mike Yeo got fired mid-season and replaced by former Minnesota North Star --- at least for 29 real-life career games --- Emanuel Viveiros, who was coaching Ingolstadt in the DEL.

It seems kind of random to see someone from the DEL replace an NHL head coach mid-season, but it made me laugh thanks to the unintentional irony of the team hiring an obscure Minnesota hockey alum.

Absolutely! To his credit, his in-game reputation rating was very good. I would assume it was based on all he did for Austrian hockey --- now, he gets to coach Thomas Vanek.

Shortly after I made my original post, another very ironic coaching change took place in Dallas: Lindy Ruff was fired and replaced by the same coach who once replaced him in Buffalo, Ron Rolston!

As a Sabre fan who remembers that time in history pretty vividly, I had to laugh. Hopefully the talent on Dallas's roster sets Ron up for more success in Dallas than he had here.
