Fatigue
At what point should you scratch a player for a game....90%...80%...70%
Just noticed my second line RW was at 65% so I didn’t dress him. What a good general guideline? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The main effect of low fitness is reducing the player's game fatigue limit, so he'll still be able to be effective for a while, but will tire out much sooner. So, rather than not dressing a guy entirely, you could play him but with reduced icetime (although that won't help him recover his fitness level - if you're at a busy point in the schedule, it may make sense to rest him for a game so he's not running out of gas early in every game.)
