Historical League Evolution

I'm playing out a historical league as the Tigers but I have OOTP Developement on instead of real transactions. I must say I'm having a blast doing this as before I've always played fictional leagues but decided to try something new when 13 came out. Just looking up players and learning the real life history of the players is making this worth it. It's slow going though as I play out at least the 1st game of every series for my team and more if I get a good matchup like Cy Young vs Christy Mathewson so I've only managed to get to 1906 (started 1901).

Anyway, on to my question. Is there a way to tell when things change in the league? For example, it's pretty obvious when Cleveland changed to the Naps but is there a report or somewhere in history that documents this? Another one is when ballparks change. Thanks in advance for any information.

League History - then along the top you'll see various tabs, one which is titled "League Evolution"

Ballparks changes are not recorded or saved afaik.

Thanks. I had checked that screen but so far it doesn't have any entries. Maybe that is for when league expands. Either way, it's not a big deal and doesn't take away from the game. Thanks again.

Just so you're aware (which you probably are) you can create your own notes on that page too. So if the game didn't keep track of something you'd like it to, you can always add it yourself.

I have noticed that on a historical MLB team, the league evolution page never gets updated. On other leagues, there are entries...

Historical will follow real expansion.
