The Brooklyn Dynasty go from out of the playoffs on September 1st to G326 champions! Only lost 1 game in the entire postseason. What a run.

The Miners have won the Gold Level Series 4 games to 2 against the Stockholm Owls. Biggest hit of the series was in the bottom of the 9th of game 5 when Jesse Burkett hit a 3 run walk off home run. Series MVP was Joe Medwick who hit .381, although Paul Dean was 2-0 with a 2.02 era.
The YakAnglers fell in the Sub-league series in 6 games on a dramatic 11th inning walk off homerun. Was a tremendous series with the better team winning.

The Frogs' miracle run has come to an end with a 4-3 loss in game 7 on the road in the P405 championship series. I am not mad at all in squandering a 3-0 series lead. The other team was simply better and a true, card-carrying (frequent plankton diner's card?) whale. They've now won their league in 3 out the previous 4 weeks. A wrecking ball for sure. I mean they took down Dyersville 4-0 in the subleague series.
Just for giggles I was thinking about the probability math of my [inferior] team taking a 3-0 lead in the first place, and then the other team roaring back in 4 straight. Based on very dubious data, let's stipulate that the other team would maintain a .750 winning percentage against mine (they've gone 122-40 in each of the previous 2 seasons which is .753 winning %). In actuality, they might play closer to .800 ball seeing that they'd made some recent upgrades (100 Boggs, 100 Ed Walsh etc). Anyhow, for the sake of back-of-the-envelope calculations all around the world, let's say I had a 25% chance to win each game: .25 x .25 x .25 = 1.5% chance of winning 3 in a row. As for their comeback: .75 x .75 x .75 x .75 = 32% chance of winning 4 in a row. So, really, I had 2 chances out of 3 to win after taking the 3-0 lead, but not an incredible stretch either way.

my team in Diamond league was 58-77 on August 31
I finished the season 79-83 unfortunately 5.5 games out of the wildcard, but still, a great finish for my team. Josh Gibson putting up 4.1 WAR in little over 2 months (and my other catcher, Grandal, putting up 3.4 WAR himself) |

It's too bad you couldn't win it all, but you came amazingly close which is even more impressive considering you have a ftp team. Congratulations on a great season!

Thieves won Diamond Level Championship!
Troy Tulowitzki was series MVP - a guy I acquired late in the season. Bees lost divisional series after winning 100 games and leading their League. Barnstormers are in Perfect League purgatory, probably the fate that awaits my champion Thieves, sadly... |

A second consecutive Perfect League title for Great Lakes after winning game 7 of the P414 series. The defining moment was in the LCS where, facing a very strong Bellevue Black Knights (3 Perfect league titles), we managed to win 4 straight after going down 2-0. Rogers Horsnby was the LCS and WS MVP, batting a whopping .431 in the playoffs.
Doha had another great regular season, winning 112 games, only to be swept in the first round. Perugia battled valiantly in the ultra competitive P405, going 85-75, but it was not enough to reach the playoffs. The season was made a lot sweeter by pulling 90 Ozzie Smith midseason and perfect Jackie Robinson with the season's final pack. Both are great fit for a contact oriented team

When the new leagues are up, can someone check whether the Portland Raccoons are still in Perfect or have been randomly selected for relegation out of their three-way tie? It kills me not to know! And I won't know on my own for another... five to six hours.

Thx!
Well, that will make the regroup effort that much harder, but most of the stuff I tried to sell for funds didn't sell anyway... more bottom-of-the-barrel scraping!
