[QUOTE=Magus978;4520427]Looking at the four remaining Iron OL teams and their schedules...I've concluded that we need more Iron teams. This does not take into account games that have already been played.
Steelport: 0 (Yes, you read that right. ZERO) Gotham: 26 (9 vs Stephensville, 10 @ Stephensville, 4 vs Mudville, 3 @ Mudville) Mudville: 14 (3 vs Stephensville, 4 @ Stephensville, 3 vs Gotham, 4 @ Gotham) Stephensville: 26 (9 @ Gotham, 10 vs Gotham, 3 @ Mudville, 4 vs Mudville)[/QUOTE Arrgghh! You suck, OOTP. If this is correct, there will be no crown in iron. Please report the OL games at the end of the season, though. I'm making progress on getting the all time list back together, but it's a slog. |

Early returns from Iron 198. With no crown to go for, all these games are purely for individual bragging rights. That said, Gotham have beaten Stephensville 4 out of 7 to start the season. We have yet to hear from Mudville.
Poor Steelport...we won't hear from them at all, and will be removed from future reports for the remainder of the week. |

Schedule for OL S296
As always, some games have been played. I used abbreviations for the away columns, so it should be a little larger. I still can't figure out why OOTP's friends list can't divide 18 by 6 and come up with 3 OL teams per division. At least Washington came up with more than 60 games. Good luck to all, and great that we got everybody in.

Am I on the right track here? I think if you name them the Allpacka, it'll be about a subtle as a hammer. Think some cleets should be on the hooves? |

I am more concerned about the opposing fielders than the Allpacka. Trying to tag a charging beast is terrifying.

Thanks everyone for having your friends lists set up so I could get back into OL despite being on vacation. Looks like being away from the keyboard and not being able to tinker stinker my lineup was just what I needed to get over the hump into Perfect!

Are you happy or sad that you got promoted the week you didn't do anything with your team?

Stanley, that logo is awesome, thanks!
Two things though, if you don't mind 1. I dropped it into the customize screen and it appears OOTP stretches the logo to be square. So I think I need to import this into the logo creator (I've got it around here somewhere) and center it so there is blank space on either side. Or you could add some blank space on either side for me. 2. The small version seems... difficult to distinguish. Do you think maybe you could cut just the head out on a transparent background so I could use that as the small version? If you have time and or interest in making those changes that's great - if not, then I can go with what I've got here. Thanks again for the work and creativity! |

Interesting start to my season for my 3 teams. I took some time to go over both global and player strategy as I realized I hadn't touched it or looked at it in a very long time. I also neutralized ballpark settings for San Pedro and Boogie to get a baseline of where they should be moving forward. I left Everett's BP factors alone because they traditionally had an above average record at home and of course in the small sample size so far this week they have been below .500 at home.
I need to pay more attention to that and learn ballpark factors a little better. Having only played historical I never touched the ballparks. I realize now I am doing this backwards I am buying and selling players with no idea of how they will fit the park I haven't created yet..... |

Haha...well I left on Thursday so I still had half a season but I think not being able to stuff things up at crunch time was a big help!

Well not only did the Redlegs win their Diamond league, but my main non-OL team finally got into Gold by winning their league, and one of the teams I started with my All-Star sale license (the all manager team) won Iron last week. So that’s three championships with very little effort!
