Adjust starting year?

I know how to set the starting year in a brand new custom game. But is it possible to change the starting year from an existing league exported as a template?

Or to change the starting year from an existing league exported as a quickstart?

If not, it is possible to go into a copy of an existing league file and change the years of the history so current date is a different year?

Changing year in games

Not sure if this is what you mean, but I used someone's Quickstart file, but didn't want to be playing in "the future" within a few years, so I adjusted the start date when starting the game, and had half my players retiring by the end of the first year.
Only way I could figure out how to prevent this without starting in the year the game was created for, was to export the players stats as .csv files, import them to Excel and use a formula to change the players' birthdates by the same number of years that I wanted to shift the game, then copy the formulated field back to the correct column, then save as .csv & re-import the files to the game. Everything seemed to work ok after that.

Thank you! That is precisely what I meant. It's clear that a quickstart is not the answer. I doubt a template is either, but I'm going to check and see.

Your Excel hack is brilliant, but I'm spreadsheet challenged. Can you send me what you used?
