2017 Update?

Hey can we get an update on where this project stands? Haven't heard much since November and in his post of Feb.23 last year, Markus said they were aiming for a Summer/Fall 2017 release date.

Not expecting to have monthly updates of just "Still in development" especially if there's not much to note of but it's nice to know that BTS is still in development . Really excited for this and definitely will buy the first iteration of this game. Always wanted a American Football Manager Sim.

I am cautiously optimistic about this program, but I think pre-ordering this is the quintessential "buy and hold" strategy.

I don't know how I feel about this game tbh. I love OOTP and football, but FHM was such a disappointment. I want to preorder it but at the same time I don't.

I've got a feeling it's not coming along as hoped for. I hope that isn't the case, but...just a bad feeling. If true, it is too bad. =/
American Football sim similar to OOTP Baseball would cause such a buzz in the PC gaming world...wow...

@Vulcan ..... I think with them getting an additional year we will be pleasantly surprised.

Part of me had hoped that Jim Gindin (Front Office Football) would come on board. With his engine, and OOTPDev's GUI and insight into presentation, I think that would be a homerun (no pun intended).

I didn't see anyone here suggest it is being canceled. I think the question is will it be out this year, or will we have to wait another year?

I'm so so ready for this game. Madden bores me to death without being able to check stats or have a historic in depth simulation franchise.

I am a big fan of fictional leagues and I took a Madden franchise about 15-20 years into the future, playing every single game and it was so frustrating not being able to look back at retired players and see who had contributed what to my team. OOTP has spoiled me so much. My favorite thing to do is check out league reports
