NCAA transfer issue

Hey guys,

There's an issue i've encountered in simulating the game over a 3-4 year period. I noticed many of the USHL/US High School players, after being drafted are being signed by AI teams and have been assigned to AHL teams after the draft. Normally they would transfer to the NCAA for at least a year or two (or perhaps sign with a Canadian Hockey League team if they happened to be drafted). Just wondering if this is something that might be looked into for an upcoming patch?

We've adjusted a setting that should make them a little more reluctant to sign immediately if they're college-bound, you should see a change after the next update. Still need to do some work on the NHL teams' aggressiveness in immediately signing young prospects, though; it'd be more realistic if they waited a little longer, particularly when they're not about to imminently lose the rights, as is the case with recently-drafted guys headed to college.
