OOTP 16 and a Windows Surface

I am trying to use OOTP 16 on a Windows Surface, it will run, but when trying to create a custom league, ootp crashes. This is the first version of the windows surface. Also would like to use a external hard drive, since the surface only has about 100 GB of space.

So, to all the comish's out there, how big is your ootp folder after about 4 or 5 seasons?

any others have knowledge with ootp and windows surfaces?

it depends on the data you save and how many leagues are in it. most likely, you will not have a problem with 100gb, even if you save everything.

i have just mlb and associated minors, i only keep major league stats and league history, i do keep all reports, i keep box scores for human mlb teams only, i don't save news logs etc etc....

anyway i have a fairly small footprint, but i keep a bit of historical info, based on my settings. in ootp 15 my league size did not increase much over time. it did fluctuate. i have not simmed enough consecutive years in ootp 16 to say for sure, but i assume it can't function much differently than 15 in this regard.

size on disk*: 340-500some megabytes, if i remember right. i think it stays consistently in that range, based on my settings.

*'size on disk' is the important number in folder properties.

Isn't the original Surface running Windows RT? I would not expect OOTP to run at all on RT.

I use my Surface Pro 3 to play OOTP and it works great. I agree that if it is a RT it will not work.
