Same player in two lines?
Did not manage to find an answer to this one, not in the online manual or by googling. So how do you set one player two play in two lines?
For example, if I get a third/fourth line player injured for a short while (week or so), I don´t always want to go through the hassle of calling up a farm player or keeping a useless player on the roster just in case someone gets injured. And for one season I had a quite decent fourth line with good prospects, that I would have wanted to pair with en experienced player as centre and use my "third" fourth line player only for special teams (high defensive ratings). If I click the "Ask Assistant", the assistant does put one player on two lines to fill the gap, but of course I do not want to do that since that would mess the other lines up. So how do I do this manually? |

Not possible. The computer can obviously do it, so it is kinda strange.

It's on the list of things we'd like to change; may get done as part of a broader set of improvements to line handling. The AI double-shifting (aside from a bug that's causing it to happen in farm teams when it shouldn't) is for fairly specialized circumstances to help superstars get more realistic icetimes (it's built around the way Gretzky was used in Edmonton in the early 80's.)
