PT 3.0 Question

Warning- Really stupid question forthcoming,

I only began playing Perfect Team about six months ago so I'm not sure how may times this has been addressed if at all, so here it goes...

When OOTP 2021 is released, and soon thereafter PT 3.0 is rolled out, do the cards and point accumulated in previous PT games carry over, or do you start from scratch in PT 3.0?

PT 1.0 is still active but it's an entirely separate entity from PT 2.0.

I suppose PT 3.0 will be a separate entity as well.

There is no carry over between versions and that includes all purchases, cards, trophies, records, etc.

For a brief couple nano seconds all the teams will be equal. It will take a few games for us mortals to sink into the depths.

Outside of perhaps a few loyalty packs, every year is and should be a total reset. The hope, however remote, that any of us, F2P or not, could pull a Perfect Cy Young on Day 1 is actually one of the coolest things about it.
Main Team:

F2P Dynasty Team OOTP 20 PT - League View Senators:

F2P Dynasty Team - OOTP 20 PT - Rosenblatt Rockets
