Trade between humans results in 'pending trade' limbo?
I play OOTP11 with two friends, we share the same computer, take turns playing games, we all have individual manager profiles, no one is in commissioner mode. We are currently on August 17th with all trade deadlines set to default. I made a trade with another human manager, a player on my 40 man for cash. The third human manager claimed the traded player on waivers and the game nullified the trade. My friend tried to make a similar trade with the same claimed player and was able to click the propose trade button and it lists the trade in both of our 'pending trade' tabs, but I never got an email on the trade to complete the trade. We have played a few days since and it still lists it as a pending trade. I know in real life waiver trades have complex, esoteric rules and OOTP simplifies this. Why is this trade in 'pending trade' limbo?
(In an aside, a 'pending trade' in limbo occurred in the previous off season in a two human player trade and we deleted the trade proposal and remade the trade and it worked, though I don't remember the exact specifics involving the trade.) Should we cancel the trade and try again? Have others experience this oddity? |

It seems to me one of you must become commish for a short time to process the trade. The game can only handle AI-AI and AI-human transactions. H-H transactions are controllable only by you three.
