If you're playing pre-1947 American baseball, then the All-American Mod (a namefiles/ethnicites/nation/cities file pack) is for you.

Any OOTP veterans have a tip or trick?

I'm not sure how this works for digital players. Maybe one of the OT regulars could help you out with that.

I suggest doing less, even none of those two things if you're trying to get a team out of a slump. The only real way to break a slump is to get more at bats. Getting guys thrown out/causing hitters to swing at crap because of a hit and run is a surefire way to cut down on at bats.

That sounds kind of dumb. I mean there really is no right answer to that question. It's all preference. Some people prefer station to station. Others prefer setting the runner in motion to put pressure on the defense. Some prefer giving them a couple days off in a row. Others prefer playing them everyday to get more ABs.

All in the preference, there is no right answer. And you'll find all of these work, though not always BECAUSE of these reasons. Eventually players work out of their slumps and over a 162 game season of highs and lows it averages right out.

Have a clubhouse meeting and go all Lou Pinella

On road trips, hang out in the hotel lobby late at night, early morning and see if you can catch guys coming in late.

Hire a Voodoo priest to rub down all the bats with chicken bones

One word: Greenies
