Here's the "foul" that sent dook to the FT line for their last lead in regulation. Note Jones jerk his head back to fool the idiot ref even though no one touched him.

I ran that clip, it must be 10 times, before I got what you are talking about because there was no defender in contact with the dribbler at all. Then I realized your clue about the head jerk and saw the long arm of the SFA player, who was blocked from the play by another Duke player, taking a swipe around him and missing by far. It must have been the angle - visualize the play, say, from the floor instead of overhead and from behind the SFA player. That's the only way to explain it.

The explanation is dook buys players, refuses to schedule games on the road that aren't located around Jersey, have the refs in their back pocket (SFA had 64 pts in the paint but went to the line just 17 times compared to dook's 40) AND STILL GOT THEIR BUTTS WHUPPED BY STEPHEN FRIKKIN' STONE COLD AUSTIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Somebody was as excited about this as you are . . . or was that indeed you yourself, Cobra Mgr?

This one really brings back bad memories. Memories of Black Saturday in Boone back in 1995. Bobby Cremins returned to his roots at Appalachian State where his Georgia Tech basketball team (led by Stephon Marbury) thumped the Apps by 30. Then the 12-0 App State football team got knocked out of the 1-AA playoffs by (you guessed it) Stephen F. Austin. Never had much use for the Lumberjacks since. Even if they did beat Dook the other night.
