Historical All Star Aesthetics
I'm enjoying PT so far. Pleased that it has been more than achievable to build a competitive team without spending any real-life money, which I wasn't sure would be realistic. It helped pulling a perfect DeGrom from my initial packs and then using the profits from that to purchase a whole load of standard packs that bore fruit.
I've got to tip my virtual hat to whoever is behind the designs for some of the historical cards. In particular the historical all-star cards have a beautiful aesthetic. It makes me wish the live cards had the same principal rather than the photographs - although I expect I'm in the minority there. |

Seconded, they look great.
I honestly wish all the other historical sets utilized this or a similar design. I really don't like the cards that just have the team logo - if we can't have real pictures, these kind of designs make them look so much more like actual player cards. |

I love the historic card templates. Though I wish they had pictures to go with the players when possible (especially the 70s, 80s,90s,00s) though I suspect licensing is different.
I really love the late 80s/early 90s template with its Saved by the Bell feel. |
