I show the photo posted above of Giel as being Bob Giggie. In checking with other photos of Giel and Giggie, i am nearly certain it is Bob Giggie. Anyone else want to chime in?

You must be right....comparing pictures of the 2 players, that one certainly is Giggie. Furthermore, Baseball Reference website use the same cropped image for its Giggie page.

My apologies, then. I was under the impression it was Giel. I will edit that post and identify the proper player.

I was actually hoping it was Giel because I do not have a photo of him with the Athletics but I recognized the photo as one I had made a card of so I checked. I already had another decent one of Giggie so i was hoping it was Giel like I said. Anyway, with a lot of these photos, we are just guessing so this happens often enough. Thanks for posting

I definitely did not have the Briggs photo so that did fill a need! Thanks
