Yes, I have an old copy of Photoshop C2. Not sure how to make them in PS, though. Do you need some plugins?

Filter -> 3D -> Generate Normal Map Not sure if you have that option. If so, it might take some editing of the file layers for it to work properly, but once you figure it out it makes it quicker and easier to make normal maps.

OK, so I tried the online Normal Map option and it generates a normal map for me. It initially didn't show up in the game, but when I removed the '_d' suffix, it appears to show up now. Although the piping and buttons appear cartoonish to me. And I realize the the word 'Giant' is in fact giant. I still have some tweaking to do obviously.

So for anything stitched onto the jersey you'll want those to be light - and that covers 99% of the jersey elements. For things like the actual jersey stitching you'll want it to be darker. The exception is for things that are screen-printed or just part of the fabric itself (think those 70's Astros jerseys where the rainbow stripes were just dyed fabric) you don't want those to appear on the normal map at all. |

Any tips for getting rid of the seams around the sleeves? I can't seem to figure it out on my Mac. It doesn't appear on the jersey when I create it, but it appears in the game.

I've been leaving this unmarked, too.

You'll need to erase them from the normal map as well.
