Custom Lineup per team/home away

Hi -
Is there a way to create and use custom lineups so you can have automatically used during simulations for:
Specific opponents
Home
Away
Weather conditions?

I am unsure of a way

I'm also curious why you'd want a specific lineup for weather conditions

I can understand why you might vs specific opponents. And why you might home and away. But no idea what strategic advantage there would be for weather

Yeah curious why you'd have a different away lineup?

That could make sense is you have an extreme home park

Say Fenway or Coors
In Coors there's a large OF to cover so defense is at a premium. Whereas in smaller away stadiums you can sacrifice some defense for offense.

You are exactly correct

It is very important for me for ballpark factors.
You can also exploit teams weakness (ie bad catcher i would want my best basestealers to play)
Weather....who knows, rain sogged field maybe i would bunt more often.

I guess bottom line you cannot do this.
Nice enhancement request for me : )

I'd bet a significant number of $ that employing my best hitting lineup judiciously platooned by pitcher handedness where the stats support it would outperform any home away park factor lineup split that used bench hitters more often.

Fact is most teams don't have "good or great" hitters 1 through 8 or 9 anyway.

not into betting....probably correct for most teams.
it would just be fun to do this as i like to make these decisions and try out different scenarios
after all their are stats for
home, away, day night, grass turf etc etc

i like to think every bit helps rather than just set a stocked lineup...feels more like managing to me
