Slowing Down Animation
Hi all- Just getting into OOTP18 awesome game. Can you slow down the animation? It's a little too fast on my laptop-

I was going to mention that it feels a little quick sometimes. Some of the runners zip round those bases. It's almost like it's a little speeded up.

Maybe try dialing this back a bit (see below), the reverse of what we were talking about in the slow sim speed thread. Also, on the 3D & FaceGen tab, set Audience detail to Detailed. Taking away some RAM may slow down the animations.

Thanks for the suggestions Deja Bru, I'll give them a try. I think audience might be on detailed already but I'll have to check.

The threads won't impact the 3D animation speed. We can think about potential ways to adjust the animation speed, but it's a complicated system so not sure what would be possible or reasonable.

Ok, thanks. Generally it's fine just seems some plays play out a little fast here and there but nothing to worry about. It's not as if it's super speed or anything. |

Yeah that's one of them for me too. It perhaps makes it more noticable because the batter on his way to first always disappears straight away rather than runs back to the dugout and the play is over in a blink of an eye it seems.

Guessing they are for calculations only.

No. It's actually a good thing to understand in general, not specifically how it works. See these threads:
