Jerry Taylor went 4 for 4 and a San Crawford home run bade it three games in a row going deep for Brooklyn. They beat the Giants 6-5.

Mal Eason plunked Bill Jackson after Crawford's homer and Bill took exception to it. Both Eason and Jackson were ejected and it looks like short suspensions are in order.

In the first game of a double header, Brooklyn scored four times in the 9th to force extra innings. Boston scored in the 10th. Brooklyn scored on the 10th. Boston scored in the 11th. Brooklyn couldn't do it for the third time.
The Doves won 7-6.
