Sim questions

Hi, I'm sorta new to ootp baseball and just purchased version 20. I read through the online manual however, I still have a couple questions.

I just want to simulate the 2019 mlb season at the current date with quickstart. I don't want to be a GM or manager, I just want to view the season results (standings/stats/etc.). How do I set up a game universe without being a GM or Manager (or Commissioner)?

Also, how do I re-sim the same season (2019) over again after I've done it once?

You start unemployed and do not take a job for a pure watcher sim.

No idea on the re-sim though except starting a new game again.

Hi Ter, thanks for your post. I'm a new user and have the same question about re-sim. One solution I found was to save a backup before the season. Then simulate up to whenever you want, and you can always restore from backup.

Does anyone know an easier way to do this? And is there a way to retain the stats from your re-simulations?

For example, how can I re-simulate the 2004 ALCS starting in game 4 with Boston down 3-0. And then repeat that dozens of times to see how many times the Sox pull it off? That's just one example but asking about the broader use case.
