France's Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam continues to impress as he destroyed Nobuhiro Ishida @ 2:04 of the 1st round.

A right cross sent Ishida to the canvas for an 8 count & a barrage of punches ended matters early - Hassan landing 59% of his punches in the impressive blowout win.

Hassan is now 15-2 (12 KO's) & this was his 2nd defense of his IBF MW belt.

Current WBC LHW champ, Winky Wright, dropped to 168 for his 2nd shot @ a belt & this time proved successful.

Winky went to Canada & to take the IBF SMW belt from long time champ, Lucian Bute via a 15 UD. No KD's in the fight but Winky's superior boxing & defense proved to be the difference as he landed 45% of his punches (402) to only 16% for Bute (236). Judges had it 144-141 twice & 144-142.

It was Bute's 1st loss (19-1-2) & Winky's now 3-1 @ 168. His lone loss to WBA champ (Mikklel Kessler) was due to a cut TKO.

Chad Dawson moved to 14-1 @ 175 with a dominating defense of his WBA LHW title stopping Nathan Cleverly @ 2:12 of the 14th due to eye swelling of Nathan's right eye.

Chad landed @ will (54% - 419 punches) to Nathan's 28% (204 PL). Nathan hit the deck twice over the 14 rounds - courtesy of Chad left crosses.

Judges had Chad up 128-116, 127-117 & 126-118 @ the time of the stoppage.

It was Nathan's 1st loss, now 5-1.

Craig McEwan made his 3rd defense of his WBA MW belt with a SD (145-141, 144-142, 143-144) over hard luck fighter, Fernando Guerrero.

It was FG's 2nd title shot with the same result, a SD loss. Craig's height & boxing ability controlled the action landing 38% of his punches (405) to 240 for FG (16%).

Craig now 16-0-1 & FG drops his 2nd straight with a 14-4 mark.

Dannie Williams was able to hold off Antonio DeMarco via a SD to retain his WBO LW belt but his 2nd title defense didn't go as well in Japan.

An aggressive & accurate Nihito Arakawa swelled up both of Dannie's eyes & knocked out the American with a combo @ 2:44 of the 5th.

Nihito doubled up Dannie in PL, 207 to 106 & landed 57% of his punches to Dannie's 22% as he tried in vain to keep the aggressive Japanese challenger @ bay - to no avail.

Ruslan Provodnikov made the 1st defense of his WBC JWW belt with an impressive 9th round TKO of a game Mike Dallas, Jr. For some reason Dallas decided to stand & trade with the champ more than expected & that finally caught up with him in the 9th as Ruslan dropped him twice (a barrage & a cross).

It was Mike's 3rd title shot having lost via a SD to Mike Arnaoutis for his WBA JWW belt & also lost a 15UD to Ivan Kirpa for the IBO WW title.

Ruslan is now 12-0 with 11 KO's & was up 78-75 on all 3 cards.

Thomas Damgaard continues his tear through WW's as he made the 9th defense of his WBC belt with an 8th round KO (rib shot) of Antwone Smith.

Thomas dominated from the outset dropping Smith 2 other times in the bout & was ahead by 7 (twice) & 5 points on the scorecards.

Thomas is now 16-1-1 @ 147. Smith got the title shot due to the fact he had a draw back in June against WBA WW champ, Frederic Klose.

Canelo Alvarez moved to 8-0 @ 154 & took the WBC SWW belt away from Milton McCrory with a hard fought 15 UD: 145-139, 146-138, 144-140.

The only KD in the fight was in the 14th when a left hook sent Milt to the deck for an 8 count.

Canelo was very accurate landing 48% of his punches to only 22% for the defending champ.

Former WBC SWW champ Antonio Margarito wasted little time as he went right after new WBA JMW champ, JC Candelo.

JC won the belt earlier this year due to a late round cut vs. Miguel Cotto. He must have enjoyed being the champ a little too much as JC came into the ring soft around the middle. Antonio proceeded to land 51% of his punches (to JC's paltry 17%) as he took the belt with a dominating 4th round TKO.

It's AM's 3rd world title belt (2nd @ 154) as he improves to 9-2 @ JMW while JC falls to 17-4-1.

IBO WW champ Ivan Kirpa moved to 154 to try & take the IBF JMW belt from K-9 Bundrage & it didn't go well for the hard punching Russian.

For the 1st 2-3 rounds it appeared Ivan was more than holding his own against the stronger American champ but eventually K-9 proved too strong stopping Kirpa via TKO in the 9th. Ivan had both eyes swelling @ the time of the stoppage. The judges in Russia had the fight very close, 2 for K-9 @ 76-75 & one had it 76-76.

K-9 is now 13-0 with 12 KO's & this was his 1st defense.

Devon Alexander's march through Europe continued in Scotland with an 8th round TKO of Kevin Anderson. A right cross from Kevin sent Devon to the deck for a 5 count in the 1st for a flash KD. Devon's superior boxing took over after that point & 2 uppercuts in ensuing rounds put Kevin down. Devon was up 68-63 twice & 68-64 & up 276 (52%) to 102 (18%) in PL.

It was Devon's 2nd title defense of his IBF WW belt & 3rd country since taking the title in May in Italy (Denmark in July). Devon is now 6-0 (4 KO's @ 147).

Mike Arnaoutis made the 6th defense of his WBA JWW belt in France with a 15 UD against Gabriel Mapouka (146-140, 144-142, 145-141). Mike dominated the PL: 391 (37%) to 204 (13%).

Mike's now 19-2-1.

Rakhim Chakhkiev made an impressive 1st defense in Russia of his IBO CW belt with a 10th round TKO of Santander Silgado. Rakhim appeared determined to end matters in the 10th dropping Silgado 3 times in the round before the ref stepped in.

Silgado had gone 15 rounds with David Haye in a losing effort to take the WBC crown earlier this summer.

Rakhim led on all 3 cards: 90-82 & 88-84 - twice.

Miguel Cotto lost his 2nd fight in a row due to a cut over his right eye. JC Candelo took Cotto's WBA JMW belt earlier this year due to a cut in the 14th & Travis Simms opened that same cut in his 7th defense of his IBO JMW belt with a 4th round cut TKO.

Cotto is now 10-2 (10 KO's) @ 154 & Simms improves to 19-2-2.

WBO JWW champ Timothy Bradly moved up to 147 in an attempt to win the WBO belt @ WW against Selcuk Aydin in Germany.

2 judges had the fight 147-139 but must have seen totally different fights as 1 had Tim winning by a comfortable 8 point margin & 1 had Aydin winning. 144-142 decided the fight in Aydin's favor for the SD win.

Bradley out punched Aydin 343 to 286.

It was Aydin's 3rd defense of his WBO crown & he's now 10-0 with 9 KO's.

It was Tim's 1st loss ever & he's now 2-1 with 2 KO's @ 147.

In an epic fight, Juan Manual Marquez defended his IBF JWW belt for the 3rd time with a dramatic left hook KO of Chop Chop Corley @ 1:54 of the 15th.

Corley appeared to be in control of the fight & was ahead 358 to 308 in PL. Juan went for the all out KO in the 15th because he seemed to be behind while Corley employed the cover up strat - thinking he'd just have to last the round to win the decision.

Corley was up 135-131 on 1 card, Juan up 134-132 on another & the 3rd judge had the fight dead even @ 133-133.

Juan is now 6-0-1 (3 KO's @ 140) & Corley is 28-3-1 with 15 KO's.

MW unification

Spain's Roberto Santos declined a mandatory fight with Peter Quillin in order to fight IBF MW champ Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam in France.

That turned out to be a wise decision as Santos trailing on all 3 cards (91-97, 91-98 & 92-96) knocked Hassan out with a left hook @ 2:29 of the 11th.

As the scores indicate, Hassan appeared in complete control out punching Santos 303 to 187.

With the win, Santos retained both his WBC & IBO belts & acquired the IBF one too.

Khoren Gevor made the 1st defense of his WBO SMW belt with a 15UD over the fearsome Adonis Stevenson.

Adonis came into the fight 10-0 (10 KO's) but his vaunted power never appeared to hurt the champ & there were no KD's in the bout. Gevor won the PL battle 373 to 266 (39% to 20%) & on all 3 cards: 146-142 & 144-142 twice.

hamed I'm interested to know if are you using your own ratings or those from "official" database?
