Someone trading players behind my back

I haven't seen this before, but this season, twice someone in my organization has traded players when they have no permission to do so in the options. The first time I caught it, and used commissioner mode to undo it and trade him back, but then I simmed a month and realized someone made the trade again, and also traded another player too!

The 2nd trade was a pretty good one, so I'm not too upset about that one. :-P

Do you have "Initiate and react to trades" in the Team Control Settings set to the assistant? Or Roster Moves and/or Transactions? The first one is the most likely cause, but the other two may result in trades if the team is temporarily over the cap and there's no other way to get back under it.

I never allow initiate and react to trades, but I did have roster moves set to the assistant. I didn't expect them to trade away key players with that feature though. I am now in the era of the salary cap though, so maybe that was it. I don't think trades should be allowed under roster moves since it does not say that and trades are covered by a different setting.I would much preferred the game stop and make me choose.
